India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has slammed the Indian National Congress for "giving away" the Katchatheevu Island to Sri Lanka.
The Island, which was claimed by India and Sri Lanka, was given to Colombo by the Indira Gandhi-led government in 1974.
India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has also criticised the then-government for this decision.
